Tradeshift — the largest platform for digitising invoices and payments in international trade —announced that the transaction turnover exceeded $1 trillion. In June, the volume of transactions on the platform grew by 52% year-on-year, which speaks for the recovery of international trade after the pandemic crisis.
More than 1.5 million companies bill and receive invoices through Tradeshift, including DHL, Siemens, Unilever, Volvo, IKEA and Danone. The company has offices in 13 countries and employs 800 people. The fastest-growing Tradeshift market is Latin America, followed by China.
According to the results of the last funding round, Tradeshift was valued at $2.7 billion — two and a half times higher than a year earlier. The current return for the Global Technologies Private Portfolio clients who purchased Tradeshift shares is 143%.
