Cybersecurity company Tanium (included in Global Technologies Private Portfolio fund) hired a new CFO — Mark Levin. Previously he worked at Hewlett-Packard, RSA Security, JDA Software, and C3 AI — the latest company held a successful IPO last December.
Levin’s appointment has renewed talks about the Tanium IPO. Business Insider addresses that Levin’s task will be to assess Tanium’s readiness for a public offering.
The market has been waiting for an IPO for Tanium for a long time: the company has been operating since 2007, its capitalization exceeds $9 billion. Among Tanium’s clients are half of the Fortune 100 companies, as well as the US military.
Tanium is backed by major venture capital funds such as Andreessen Horowitz, Franklin Templeton, Citi Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures. The last round took place in October 2020.
